Every date is in-universe, not a release date. Each line says where it is told (game, file or film) and links the guide’s chapter, character, boss or file when there is one. The CG films (Degeneration, Infinite Darkness, Damnation, Vendetta and Death Island) are part of the games’ story and are marked “CG film, canon”. The live-action ones (Paul W. S. Anderson’s six, Welcome to Raccoon City, the Netflix series and 2026’s Resident Evil) are separate continuities and are not in this chronology; they are in films and series. Who each person is: who’s who.
