Crank (Red)

One of the Maze's 4 fixed chests. Which crank is in which chest is random. The first chest, on the north side (climb from the red square platform in the north-east to a higher ledge with a barrel), always holds the red or the blue crank, since those are the only two traps you can reach at first.

Fits the red trap's socket, by the red room (north-east). Your partner turns it and the spiked platform rises; lure the Blob underneath (don't stand under it yourself) and press the prompt to drop it. The crushed Blob drops the Sun Eater Serpent Shard.

Before climbing to the chest, cross the red platform to the far side (back in the water): a crate there has a Flash Grenade.
