RESIDENT EVIL 5 Platinum TrophyEarn the other 50 base-game trophies. It is the PlayStation platinum: Xbox and Steam have no equivalent. The 20 DLC trophies (Versus, Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape) are **not** needed. The Switch has no achievements: treat this list as personal goals. A Steam achievement guide puts it at **100–120 h**, much of it farming money and Exchange Points. Nothing is missable for good: every cleared chapter comes back through **Chapter Select**, and money, weapons, upgrades and emblems belong to your profile. Plan: - **Run 1 on Normal** (Soldier and all 16 chapters). Shoot emblems and grab treasures as you go; the combat awards come almost on their own. - **Farm money** (4-1, the 5-1/5-2 Lickers) for Take It to the Max and Stockpile. - **Veteran** with upgraded weapons (opens Professional). - **Amateur in under 5 h** in total: Recruit and the **Infinite Rocket Launcher**. - **Professional** with infinite ammo and the Infinite Rocket Launcher. - **S rank in all 16 chapters**, on any difficulty (Amateur counts), for the Wesker (Rare) figurine. In co-op, **only the host's chapter-clear flag is safe**: a guest who joins mid-chapter can miss it.

War HeroComplete all chapters on Professional.Professional opens once all 16 chapters are cleared on Veteran. They don't have to be played in order: Chapter Select counts. What changes: - You deal **85%** of normal damage and enemies barely stagger; a knocked-down one gets up in 1–2 s. - Majini melee-weapon attacks do **10×** damage and many put you straight into **DYING**. You have **under 3 s** to revive your partner: stay together. - **Fixed ammo and grenade placements are gone** and nothing drops herbs (money and ammo still drop). Fixed healing items stay. - In QTEs **the first button you press counts**: mashing or a wrong press is death. - Money pickups are worth **double** (gold bar: ₦3,000 → ₦6,000). Treasures don't change. - Solo, enemies go **only for you** and ignore the AI. Bring **Infinite Ammo** weapons and the **Infinite Rocket Launcher**. The most feared fight is **Ndesu** at the end of 2-3: you're stuck on the turret while Majini on the sides hit hard. Worth 70G (Fandom's list says 60G; its own award page says 70G, which is what adds up to the base game's 1,000G).

Lost in Nightmares0/5

Must've Got LostComplete Lost in Nightmares on any difficulty.Chris and Jill's episode in the Spencer Estate; about 1 h (under 30 min once you know it). It opens after you clear **3-1** (Fandom and three Japanese guides; one Steam guide says after the campaign). **No saving**: checkpoints only, so play it in one sitting. Weapons are random each run and **you lose them all at the crest trap**. Clearing it unlocks **Jill** solo and the Chris & Jill extra figure. Bronze trophy · 15G.
Wish Upon a StarmissableDestroy all 18 fixed Score Stars in Lost in Nightmares.Mansion (1–10), the ledge before the drop into the prison (11), prison (12–17) and the return to the mansion (18). **Two points of no return**: stars 1–10 are lost once you jump from the "Jump Down" ledge (11 can still be seen from below), and stars 12–17 once you cross the crest gate (the trap drops you into the maze). - The spike-ceiling room one (1,000 points, high on the south wall above the safe): shoot it as you enter. - The last one is on the return to the mansion: take an **M92F** from the bodies and go back to the stairs. Jill can knife it by aiming up. They also count toward the S rank. Bronze trophy · 15G (2.1% on Steam, 2026).
Kung Fu FightingmissableInflict a set amount of damage to Wesker in Lost in Nightmares. The final fight lasts 3 minutes; if time runs out it ends with no reward and you'll have to play back to it. - Shoot him **3 times from long range**: he dodges, then **dashes at the shooter**. - Dodge with the prompt and run in for the **melee prompt** (Chris uppercut, Jill sweep). If he starts the dash on his own, the prompt is a stronger team attack. - 3–4 counters, or one full melee combo, make him leave early. Solo, **don't let the AI pick up an M92F**: its shots break the pattern. In co-op, don't shoot after the other player dodges: it cancels the melee. Reward: a **3,000-point** star. Bronze trophy · 15G.
It's Just a Bad Dream!Complete Lost in Nightmares with an S rank.Any difficulty: do it on **Amateur** (the maze needs only 1 shard). For the S: **every Score Star**, a few **Blobs** (each drops a 2,000 star), little damage taken and speed. A Japanese guide gives the bar: accuracy ≥70%, ≥6 kills, ≤5,000 damage taken, ≥13,000 star points and ≤40:00 (deaths aren't graded in the DLC). The 18 fixed stars give about 9,500–10,000: with Kung Fu Fighting (3,000) and **one Blob** you clear it easily; without Kung Fu, the 18 stars and **2 Blobs** make 13,500. The Blob's weak spot is the **yellow eye behind the growth on its right arm**: one shot always stuns it. Add **Wish Upon a Star** and **Kung Fu Fighting** in the same run. Bronze trophy · 15G.
Night TerrorsComplete Lost in Nightmares on Professional.Professional opens after a **Veteran** clear. Changes: **Blobs don't show on the map**, the maze needs **4 shards**, and QTEs take only the exact button (on the other difficulties you can mash everything except Wesker's dash). If a Blob grabs you, your partner has to free you or it's an instant kill. Place each shard as soon as you have it: it updates the checkpoint and you won't have to hunt the cranks again. Silver trophy · 40G.

Desperate Escape0/5

GetawayComplete Desperate Escape on any difficulty.Jill and Josh's episode in the Tricell facility; 1–2 h. It opens once **every campaign chapter** is cleared. **No saving**: checkpoints only. Enemies, weapons and bosses are random each run. The finale is a hold-out on the landing pad: the timer starts at 5:00 and at 40 s left it jumps to about 2:40 (about 7 min in all). Before stepping past the blue crate, grab the First Aid Spray, the ammo and the 2 Hand Grenades. Clearing it unlocks **Josh** solo and the Jill & Josh extra figure. Bronze trophy · 15G.
Shoot the MessengermissableDefeat 3 Agitator Majini in one playthrough of Desperate Escape. The same player must kill all 3, on **Amateur**. Megaphone Big Men don't count; each real Agitator gets his own cutscene. All 3 are scripted Cephalo hosts: stun a leg and finish from behind. - **1, Transportation Area 1 (the hard one)**: clear all 5 waves before using the **Transport Area Key** (don't take it until the 3rd wave is dead), open the gate and toss Jill up the broken ladder. If the cutscene plays, run back and kill him as he climbs the ladder. If he doesn't show, restart. - **2, Communication Facility**: after Jill unbars the north gate, clear the area and man **both rocket turrets**. Kill the 2 pairs of Majini on the south walkway; then he appears with 4 more on top of the wall you came through. Solo, leave the AI on a turret. - **3, landing pad**: he comes up the lift with 2 Big Men at about 26–30 s left, **only if you killed every boss quickly**. He turns into a Cephalo: keep a **Flash Grenade**. Bronze trophy · 15G (1.9% on Steam, 2026).
Way of the WarriorDefeat 150 enemies singlehandedly in one playthrough of Desperate Escape. On **Amateur**. Solo, take the AI's weapon at the start so every kill is yours. Enemies respawn until you push forward: hang back in each area, above all the Communication Facility, where the alarm makes them endless. On the landing pad, use a shotgun. It pairs with **The Great Escape**, which also wants about 150 kills. Bronze trophy · 15G.
The Great EscapeComplete Desperate Escape with an S rank.Any difficulty. A Japanese guide gives the bar: accuracy ≥70%, **≥150 kills**, ≤10,000 damage taken, **≥10,000 star points** and ≤40:00. The points come from the 2 fixed stars, the bosses (1,000 each) and the Agitators: **Amateur** drops 2 bosses, so there you need the Agitators too; on Normal the bosses and fixed stars almost cover it. Save time with the **Rocket Launchers** you find (the fixed one, past the assist jump in the middle of the east area, and depending on the pattern another in a locker): they blow the heavy gates without the turrets; done right, only 2 gates need it. The 2 fixed Score Stars (1,000 each): on the roof of the metal crate the first boss bursts out of, and on the side of a crate stack west of the Communication Facility. Bronze trophy · 15G.
Run the GauntletComplete Desperate Escape on Professional.Opens after a **Veteran** clear. The worst part is the final landing pad: - Each player climbs one ladder on the east side and knocks the climbers off. - Lay **Proximity Bombs** in front of the lift: that's where the bosses come up. - For a blue **Chainsaw Majini** getting up berserk, 2 **Hand Grenades** as it rises. - Every boss except the Reaper swells and bursts when it dies: shoot them as they fall. Silver trophy · 40G.
