Gear and upgrades
Melee Vest
- Type
- Vest
- Chapter
- 1-2 · Urban District and Furnace Facility
- Price
- ₦10,000
Where
Shop only, ₦10,000. On sale from 1-2 per two sources and from 2-1 per two others. Sells for ₦1,000.
Effect
Halves all melee damage taken by whoever wears it.
- It takes 1 of the 9 inventory slots (there is no way to expand the grid).
- It can be worn together with the Bulletproof Vest.
- It helps against Big Man Majini, Executioner Majini and Chainsaw Majini, who all hit in melee.
- In online co-op, one source says the guest cannot buy in the shop: let the host buy it and hand it over (vests can be given; weapons cannot).
Verdict
Useful, but ₦10,000 early on is a lot: buy it once the M92F has its Critical and you can spare a slot.
