Main House attic: metal shelves in the SE corner. On Madhouse it comes earlier, in the Processing Area Dissection Room (the shelves that divide the room, chapter 2).
Use
A replica the Display Room statue accepts in place of the real shotgun, without the door locking you in. On Easy and Normal, use it to get the Broken Shotgun back (and make the M21 with a Repair Kit) without giving up the M37. On Madhouse it is how you take the M37.
