How to get it
First found in the Old Videotape (8 on Normal, they do not carry over). The present-day Wrecked Ship has 15 more (2 of them in a Cargo Bay wall panel, S2, opened with Corrosive) and the Salt Mines 4: Crossroads 2, South Cavern 1 and Spiralling Cavern 1.
Verdict
Hoard the present-day ones: they go to Ethan's box and pay off most in the Salt Mines.
- Place it on the ground and detonate it with reload (Y). If you do not detonate it, you can pick it back up.
- It can kill you: back off before detonating.
- Trick: let a two-armed Molded grab you, equip the bomb and press fire to stuff it in its mouth; detonating it is an instant kill even at full health, Fat Molded included. It earns “That's a Spicy Meat-a-ball”. Blade-armed Molded never grab.
- Infinite Ammo does not cover Remote Bombs.
Normal has one more on Wrecked Ship 4F, Side Stairs (not on Easy).
