Remote Bomb

Picked up in the field. The first fixed ones are in Leon Chapter 1 (1-5 Gun Shop): one on the sofa in the upstairs room once the owner opens it, and one upstairs after the Whopper, left of the roof door, before going outside. Jake Chapter 1: a briefcase in a cabinet with a Remote Bomb and 2 Flash Grenades. Jake Chapter 2 (Mines): 4 to the right of the area where Sherry climbs the broken ladder for the keycard.

Trap for bosses and crowds: worth the slot against Simmons in Leon Chapter 5 and the Ustanak in Jake Chapter 2.

Leon's and Jake's campaigns.

• Place it with the aim button; to detonate, hold aim and press attack. Placing it during a slide gives you distance.
• Only one can be out at a time.
• Jake Chapter 2: plant one to distract the Ustanak. In the cave, a chest with 4,000 SP sits behind the first ice wall: one source says to break it with a Remote Bomb, another to let the Ustanak smash it.
• Jake Chapter 3: one ID Medal sits under the table in the seating room, out of reach: blow it out with a Remote Bomb.
• Leon Chapter 5 (5-3): at least one is in a box by the stone circle; plant them near the obelisk and lure Simmons.
• The Mercenaries: Leon (default), Piers (default) and Agent (5).
