How to get it
Leon, ch12: Gun Shop Kendo, Storage Building (Raccoon City Center), shelves in the SW corner, empty. After the cutscene, turn around (180°): it is on the shelves behind the door. The nearest Supply Box is the Side Street one, out the storage building's back door. It is lost once you drop into the hole in the ruined Orphanage.
Verdict
The shotgun with the highest base power, free but late: if your 990-TAC is already tuned it is a sidegrade. Keep one of the two and sell the other.
- VGC and DualShockers prefer it with the Cute Bear Charm (R.P.D. Parking Garage, same stretch). Game8 prefers the 990-TAC on Insanity.
- The "R.P.D. Perimeter Report" file (Main Hall, ch10) already hints: "Gun Shop out back: Working shotgun and ammo".
- Selling a tuned gun refunds only the base price; buying it back restores the upgrades.
- It is missing from Game8's upgrade list but is on its weapon page and the wiki: it can be tuned.
