Knife

Always equipped, for every character (L2 + R1 on PS3). It takes no slot, never breaks and cannot be removed.

For breaking crates and barrels without spending bullets, not for fighting: Majini surround you fast.

• Use it on the crates and barrels of 1-1: they give money and do not lower your accuracy.
• Jill slashes faster and Rebecca slower; the damage is the same.
• A Cut Above achievement: 5 knife kills. Easiest in 1-1.
• Be the Knife achievement: deflect a bow-gun bolt with a slash. In 2-1, in the container maze, crossbow Majini shoot from the top: slash just as the bolt arrives.
• Lost in Nightmares: Jill can knife star 18 by aiming up, and each of the 3 spiders in the maze's high corridor gives a small star for one slash.
