How to get it
Chris carries it from the start of his mission (ch12).
Verdict
Mandatory: the mission needs it on the mould structure; between strikes, survive with the Dragoon and the grenades.
Find a spot where nothing can reach you before you aim: any hit resets the charge. On Village of Shadows, waiting halfway up the ladder behind the red-chimney house while the strike recharges works.
It is one of the Knives Out exceptions: the mould structure requires it.
