Any shot; the shotgun is best.
Small flying bugs that come out of the U-8's abdomen. They die easily. Don't ignore them when you are short on ammo: wait for a swarm to gather and clear it with the shotgun.
Ammo, herbs and grenades (handy for the U-8 mouth trick).
