Bosses — quick reference

Grapple Valoo's tail with the Grappling Hook to swing across and drop a chunk of ceiling on her. Repeat until her shell breaks, then grapple her exposed eye and finish with your sword.

Din's Pearl

Cut the vines hanging from the ceiling with the Boomerang so it drops and exposes its head; strike it until it closes back up and repeat. Pouring Forest Water on its weak point kills it instantly.

Farore's Pearl

Shoot the hands with arrows to stun them, then shoot the head's red eyes so it lowers and opens its mouth — toss a bomb inside.

Nayru's Pearl

Dead Man's Volley: deflect his energy orb with your sword until it bounces back into him. He retreats after several hits.

Skull Hammer

Dodge until he jams his beak into the ground, then smash it with the Skull Hammer. Five hits strip off all his armor.

Frees Tetra/Zelda

Reflect light at it with the Mirror Shield to stun it, grab it, and throw it into a spiked pillar to scatter the Poes that make it up.

Piece of the Triforce of Courage

Keep your distance and Hookshot its blue tongue the moment it appears, then attack with your sword. Repeat for each segment.

Spider phase: shoot its eye with arrows or reflect light at it with the Mirror Shield to knock it down, then finish with your sword. Curtain phase: reflect the marionette hands' light beams into the central eye.

Access to the Throne Room

Phase 1: stay defensive until Zelda lands a Light Arrow on him, then strike with your sword. Phase 2: deflect Zelda's Light Arrows with your shield into Ganondorf for the final duel.
