Paradise-building basics
read these before you swing your first tool-
You don’t catch Pokémon — you attract them
There are no Poké Balls here. Every species has its own habitat preferences (terrain, decoration, lighting); build the right habitat and the right Pokémon shows up on its own.

Ditto learns moves, not the player
Befriending a Pokémon can teach Ditto (in human form) one of its moves — Bulbasaur’s Leafage to add greenery, Squirtle’s Water Gun to hydrate plants — and those moves become paradise-building tools.

Assign specialties to speed up construction
Befriended Pokémon can be assigned a specialty — Build, Crush, Bulldoze, Paint, Gather Honey, Collect — that puts them to work on specific paradise-building tasks instead of just wandering.

Fulfill requests to raise Environment Level
Residents make requests — usually for a specific piece of furniture or a habitat upgrade. Fulfilling one is how you raise an area’s Environment Level, which is tracked separately per area.

Recipes come from more than one place
New crafting recipes unlock through story progress, raising an area’s Environment Level, the Pokémon Center PC Shop (spend Life Coins), completing requests, and glowing water ripples that reset daily.

Watch the clock and the sky
A real-time day/night cycle and dynamic weather gate certain Pokémon and Highlight Reel photo ops — some only show up at night, others only in specific weather.

Use Search when you know what you’re after
The Search function helps you locate a specific target species once you know (or suspect) it’s attracted to a habitat you can build — much faster than wandering an area hoping for a spawn.

Bring friends — Link Play is co-op, not competitive
Link Play lets multiple players build in the same paradise together. It’s worth knowing before you invest hours arranging a layout solo that a friend might want to help shape.
